Based near Ripon, North Yorkshire, Jen Hurford has a recently founded registered herd of Miniature Shetland Ponies. Foals will become available for sale in due course and a quality Licensed stallion stands at stud taking in visiting mares over Spring & Summer months. With an artistic flare, Jen also has been commissioned to paint many watercolour paintings of people’s pets and animal images for children’s bedrooms. New orders to Creature Caricatures are welcomed and watch this space for greeting cards and animal prints to come.
Jen has had a love of sheep since a child and has a small flock of crossbred, commercial ewes with lambs available for sale in Autumn. These are kept alongside her and her Father’s pedigree flock of Jacob Sheep on their smallholding. The Jacobs also come up for sale on occasions, and fleeces and ready spun wool are also available.
Jen has discovered a talent for wreath making and takes commissions at both Easter and Christmas for local customers.
